If you can host a scientist that help you in developing an idea/subject/experiment which is relevant for our COST action, you can put this here by writing a request containing your idea via the Contact page! A short abstract of 500 characters is sufficient. Info will be distributed to the COST consortium.

STSM in Iceland about "Snow melt measuring and modelling"

Reykjavik University can host STSM investigating snow melt by means of direct observations and modelling. Recent studies have shown that snow data can significantly improve hydrological modelling (e.g. Finger et al. 2015, WRR), making forecast and predictions more accurate. If you would like to test your instrument or your model and collaborate with us on improving predictions of snow melt we would be very happy to discuss details further.
